    • I wanted to share some of my immune support regime. Aside of course from eating real organic vegetables, fruit, protein and healthy fats. It’s still tough to get all of the vitamins I need so I include Vit D, Vit C and omega 3 😄

Vitamin D
Vitamin D has been know to be a heavy hitter in immune support, which is more important than ever. Aside from the immune system Vitamin D is also responsible for over 200 gene expressions in your body!
I use Vit D supreme which has a higher dose at 5000IU, but in checking my bloodwork and even living in a sunny place I need it!
According to designs for health, Most holistically oriented health care practitioners are aiming for vitamin D blood levels of between 50 - 100 ng/mL as optimal. You can easily get a blood test to see where you are and what is an ideal dose. The Vitamin K works together with the D to aid in absorption and proper function.

Vitamin C
Vitamin C is a vital antioxidant for the brain’s development the body, also aiding in collagen production, skin health and wound healing.
I do the 1tsp amount recommended, and add to my water for an orange fizzy tasty beverage.

Omega 3s
According to Designs for Heath Omega 3s are important for heart health, normal cholesterol and triglyceride levels, Immune system function, Brain health and development, Joint mobility, Healthy skin and hair, A balanced inflammatory response and Eye health and development. I take this and my kids do too, tastes like a creamsicle 😋

    • Garage workout w the kiddos ✅ Typically it’s hit or miss if they are good or not. Today was good, otherwise it’s “who wants to watch their fav show so mama can workout” 😉 There’s a lot to juggle with kids so keep up the good work parents!! It’s not always pretty but gotta make it work to stay healthy and feeling good🙌🏻🙌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 #makeitwork #parenting #fit #wegotthis #healthy #whateverworks #workout #homeworkout
    • Easy batch roast veggies 🥔 🥦 I like to roast several at a time if possible. I have golden potatoes, broccoli and zucchini. I set the oven for 350 degrees and do 35 min for the zucchini & broccoli and 50 min for the potato’s. I drizzle with olive oil and chop up fresh garlic and sea salt and pepper. We will eat separately or make a bowl with some chicken and avocado maybe even lettuce and dressing or hummus. So many options once you have some veggies cooked ready to go DELISH! ENJOY 😊 #batchcooking #fit #healthyfood #eatyourveggies #healthyanddelicious
    • 🥧 There are huge pumpkin pie fans in the house that are very particular to the original. This gluten free dairy free recipe passes the test and is now a thanksgiving regular

Crust:
1.5 cup GF graham cracker
3 tbsp ghee

Filling:
1 can pumpkin purée
1 can full fat coconut milk
1/4 cup GF oats
1/3 cup coconut sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin spice
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp pure vanilla extract

Directions:
Make graham cracker crust first. Use 1.5 cups of graham and put in blender and mix in 3 tbsp ghee. Pat mixture evenly into pie pan. Bake 350 for 10 min

Preheat oven 400 degrees
Blend all filling ingredients together until smooth.
Pour into cooled pie crust
Bake 27 min let it cool and refrigerate Top with your favorite coconut whipped topping and
Enjoy 😉

    • Here is my latest trick for hidden veggies 😉 Blend up a whole raw zucchini with a little water in the blender and add about 1/4 cup or as much as you can get away with! You really can’t taste it, it’s a very neutral veggie. After I’ll add chocolate or vanilla paleo protein, some coconut and blueberries. The kids love this and don’t suspect a thing ...shhhhh! #hiddenveggies #veggiesforbreakfast #green #superfoods #healthy
