I wanted to create a pizza crust that was tasty, stayed together and was made of mostly veggies. I bake broccoli all the time but I never knew what to do with the broccoli stalks. So after a few failed attempts and fine tuning I created an awesome veggie pizza using the baked broccoli florets and stalks. This one is even TODDLER APPROVED! You know the veggies are successfully hidden when it passes for pizza, yesss!
Crust: preheat oven to 400 Degrees.
I use a cuisinart ( a blender could work too), add all broccoli and pulse until finely chopped. Then add into the cuisinart the eggs, flour, seasoning and parmesan cheese. It should be a thick batter like texture.
Use a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out broccoli mixture with an even thickness, trying to make as thin as possible. Keep in mind the thickness will determine the cook time. Bake for 20 min
Once crust is finished baking you can put all of your toppings on. Preheat your oven for 350 degrees
Then place the pizza crust with toppings back in the oven to bake.
Bake for 15 min. Enjoy!
